Communion in Prayer

Catholic Christian Community in Prayer

Communion in Prayer is a group of like-minded Catholics seeking union with God and with one another through prayer and Christian living.

Who may join this group

Any Catholic desiring to give his/her life to God in prayer and spiritual living may join Communion in Prayer

It is never easy to believe in Christ and live as though that belief does not touch your life... because once you encounter Christ, Christ overwhelms you

Instructions

Necessary spiritual instructions are given once a week to enable the participants to learn the art of praying, praying the Scripture (Lectio Divina), making one's life a continuous act of praying (that is, to teach, as Scripture says, to "Pray constantly..."), making Examination of Conscience etc, spiritually renewing one's life so as to be able to say with St. Paul, "It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me...".

Personal Instruction/Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Direction is a time-old spiritual exercise that allows individual attention given to an individual based on his/her need.

Days of Recollection

Special Days of Recollection will be arranged from time to time to provide the participants added opportunity to enjoy prayer and communication with God. Days of Recollection allow the participants to build community with like-minded Christians who are on journey like themselves.
